Course Title:
Introduction to Geospatial Technology Using QGIS.
Course Description:
-The student will describe the fundamental concepts of Geographic Information Science and Technology, creation and acquisition of spatial data.
-The student will demonstrate basic proficiency in map creation and design principles, including thematic map display, employment of map projections, and cartographic design.

1. Introduction to Geospatial Technology.
2. Understanding geospatial data model.
3. Understanding Coordinate Systems and Map Projections.
4. Displaying Geospatial Data.
5. Creating Geospatial Data.
6. Basic Geospatial Analysis Techniques.

Course requirements:
Laptop should include QGIS Version 3.16
